Special Olympics

The Special Olympics are holding a Floorball Development Day at South Lakes Leisure Centre on Saturday 11^th March 10am-2pm.

Floorball is an exciting, indoor team sport very similar to hockey. This event will be an informal come and try day for anyone with an intellectual disability who wishes to try the sport for the first time. If you work with any participants, groups or organizations who may be interested in this opportunity please get in touch and I will be happy to provide you with a little more information regarding the day.

Floorball is a sport included in The Special Olympics World Games. Over the next 12 months we will be holding a number of advancement competitions which will give athletes the opportunity to progress to the World Winter Games 2024.
