At Sainsbury’s we understand these are challenging times and across our business we’re doing everything we can to help feed the nation. This includes working with the UK Government to assist schools across the UK to provide free school meals to children who most need them.

We recognise this is also a very busy time, so we wanted to remind you of the options available to you for helping families access the meals they need.

You’ll be aware that the Government has introduced its own scheme with Edenred, which we’re supporting. But, if it’s easier or the Edenred option isn’t available to you, we wanted to remind you that you are also able to order E-Gift Cards directly from us for the provision of funds for free school meals.

To make this simple for you, we have set up a dedicated team of colleagues to help with buying bulk e-gift cards that you are able to share.  As these are digital e-gift cards they can be delivered electronically, or they can also be printed and distributed as required.

Our e-gift cards have a 24 month expiry date and can be redeemed in over 1,400 of our stores. All the recipient has to do is present the e-gift card on a smart phone device or print and present in store.
