In memory of their late sister Alana, a former pupil in Sperrinview, the Kane family decided to raise some money for school to help re-furbish the Multi-Sensory Room, Soft Play Area and Sensory Garden. They held a sponsored cycle from Mizen Head to Malin Head from 03-06 August 2018, a cake sale and they had a Just Giving Page. The cyclists wore sponsored jerseys, naming all of those who had sponsored the cycle. In total they raised an amazing amount of £50, 419.75!!!!!
Maire, John Joe and Eunan, Alana's sister and brothers, presented the cheque to Miss Jordan and Ms Walker on Thursday 22 November.
We would like to thank the Kane family and all of those who sponsored them and helped raise this amazing amount of money.
