On Thursday 25 February, Niamh Ann from Kiverco, along with a colleague, presented Sperrinview with a cheque for £694.
Employees at Kiverco Ltd, decided to support Random Act of Kindness Week and hold a ‘Treat day’, providing employees with buns and cakes in return for a small donation towards the school.
Niamh-Anne McNally, Marketing Manager at Kiverco stated,
“We are delighted to support our local community. This year more than ever has been challenging for many and we felt that it was important to give back to the local community.
We choose to support Sperrinview Special School because many of our staff have close links to the school. Routine and support services for Children with special needs and their families are essential and that's why special schools throughout Northern Ireland have weathered the Covid 19 pandemic to remain open.
Kiverco recognised that in the aftermath of the pandemic many schools will struggle with reduced budgets and our staff wanted to contribute in a small way to make a difference to the educational needs of local children.”
