Mr Daniel Laverty is pictured below with his sister-in-law Adele, his two nieces, one of whom attends Sperrinview and Miss Jordan. Daniel came to school last week to present Sperrinview with the proceeds of fund-raising carried out by completing the Belfast Marathon.
Daniel raised £6,000.00 for school. This money will be used towards purchasing a new and updated OmiVista, which is a piece of equipment which will respond to gesture and movement creating dynamic images on any surface including floors, tables, overbed tables, umbrellas, tents and wheelchair trays etc.
The pupils will have hours of fun, interactive learning from using this piece of equipment.
