Allergy Workshop
To whom it may concern,
I hope this email finds you well.
My name is Eimear and I’m a medical student at Queen’s University Belfast. I have been advised to reach out to your school to inform you about a unique opportunity that we are offering to a limited number of schools that will not only benefit the families in your school community but also offer the chance to showcase your commitment to the health and safety of your students.
At least one child in every classroom has a food allergy and in response to the pressing concerns voiced by parents of children with allergies, we are hosting an Educational Allergy Workshop at Queen’s University Belfast, specifically tailored for parents, caregivers and children affected by allergic diseases. Parents have expressed concerns regarding the lack of sufficient allergy support in their local area, as well as in educational services and extracurricular activities. Our aim is to alleviate these concerns by empowering both children and their families with self management skills to manage their allergies effectively, reducing the risk of allergic reactions by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed.
